Properly tensioned and well maintained, a catamaran trampoline delivers more comfort, more safety, and a longer lifespan.<\/strong> Here are the tips we share with our customers at the counter, for installation and everyday care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation: getting the tension right<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Your trampoline needs to be properly tensioned before use. Fully engage the boltropes and centre them before tightening the fabric, then use every eyelet provided: the more of them doing the work, the better the load is spread across the fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For tensioning, a thick shock cord is a better choice than a rigid line: the fabric will age better. Make sure the line or shock cord never touches the trampoline mesh, as over time it can cut into it.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

If the lacing runs through a tube or batten, keep it aligned and secure it with half-hitches \u2014 they stop the line or shock cord from slipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintenance: rinse and clean regularly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Salt and sand are a trampoline’s worst enemies. Rinse it with fresh water as often as you can \u2014 ideally after every outing \u2014 and clean it regularly with a soft brush to lift off sand and grime without damaging the fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO AVOID<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avoid ammonia-based detergents and high-pressure jets: they attack the fabric’s protective treatment and shorten the trampoline’s lifespan.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
