The Carbo Ratchamatic® is a ratchet pulley with a load sensor that rotates freely in both directions under light loads and **automatically engages the ratchet when the load increases**. Switching from ratchet mode to free-sheave mode is smooth and without jerks.
Standard hold: medium/light wind; holding power 10:1.
